Compact programming

About the project

Alexander Bouriac

Minimalism in programming... What is it for?! Just a trick of lazy fellows to convince that they are not sluggards but fighters for better world?

Pay more attention to contents, not to visual effects. To create simple websites no instrument is needed, except simple text editor and knowledge of HTML.

This prototype is a two-column web-page with references to second-level web-pages and to other sites.

The prototype includes the following files:

     CP2000.htm
     CP2001.htm
     CP2002.htm
     CP2003.htm
    _CP2000.jpg

They are just enough for presenting of very simple architecture to be used.

Naming convention in general

File for main page is named CP0000.htm or XX0000.htm, where XX is the abbreviation of project name.

Other pages are named as follows:

  XX0001.htm
  XX0002.htm
  XX0003.htm
  etc.

Pictures are named as follows:

  _XX0000.FFF
  _XX0001.FFF
  _XX0002.FFF
  etc.
where FFF may be "jpg", "gif", etc.
